Course did get a bit boring doing 13 laps and trying to remember how many laps to go was very challenging. Organisation was generally very good. The Marshalls and staff were brilliant- constantly cheering us on. I found conflicting times the race was due to start as emails / websites posted 09:0 and 09:30 as start times for the half marathon. Atmosphere was good as you were never that far from the main area. Other notes - course was a lot more undulating than I expected. It was demoralising constantly getting over taken by other runners doing the shorter distances but the course never got congested as some races get. Unsure if I would do it again as it was a distance to travel and meant a very early start. A slightly later start would have been better for me.

I’ve done other run through events and really enjoyed them. This one was a bit more awkward. I was running a 5k n my husband was running the 10k but the staggered start time meant we couldn’t run together. Having to walk alone through runners on the track to get to start line was confusing. With so many different races taking part I thought it had less atmosphere than other events and it was harder to pace my run. It was still good and the course was challenging just not quite and easy or fun as previous races.

Really well organised and a great atmosphere. It’s a much better event than I expected - it’s not a flat course though, short sharp hills (222m elevation for the half marathon). Was a really great atmosphere and works well.

Marshals great as always. Organisation before hand a bit poor: event village sign was directing people to the wrong place in the velodrome. Also sent to the start 15 mins before the start: supposedly so we could warm up. Instead we were standing around in the cold!

Unclear how many miles for the half marathon, just running around endlessly

There was a large group of Irish kids (10-16 years old), being a nuisance but throwing water at runners and viewers and vaping whilst they ran/walked around.

My friend and I who competed in this race are incredibly disappointed that for whatever reason they stopped recording peoples times for anyone who finished after 2 hours. So neither of us after all that effort have a time to show for it. It’s incredibly disappointing and I hope the error is looked into and fixed.
