Take on this unique Moto GP style running event at one of the UK's most iconic Olympic venues. Great for runners of all abilities, the course is a one mile road circuit around the VeloPark. Come to find your inner Olympian, for the finisher's medal or for the fruit flapjack.

Will there be a place to store my baggage?
There will be a secure area where you can leave your baggage. RunThrough recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. Route description
Feel like an Olympian as you loop around this unique Moto GP style track, at the stunning 2012 Olympic Venue Lee Valley VeloPark. A great course to improve your technical running, each mile split is chip-timed for you to review after the race.
The course is a closed 1 mile loop, and with multiple points around the track for spectators to cheer you on, you won't be able to help feeling like a champion as you cross the finish line.
- 1 mile & kids mile - 1 lap
- 5k - 3 laps
- 10k - 6 laps
- 10 mile - 10 laps
- Half Marathon - 13 laps

There are multiple fantastic points around the race track to watch the runners and cheer friends and family on. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a historic venue and offers plenty of entertainment for young families.

It is strongly recommended that those travelling by public transport to Lee Valley VeloPark, allowing plenty of time to get to the venue and please plan your journey ahead of your visit to check for any planned closures or engineering works.
By rail:
Nearest station/tube: Stratford / Stratford International
Lee Valley VeloPark is a 20-minute walk from both stations.
By bus:
Several bus routes connect to Stratford and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with the key routes being: 388, 308, 339, 97 and N205 which all stop near Lee Valley VeloPark
By taxi:
If you wish to depart from Stratford or Stratford International using a taxi then Westfield Stratford City have the Stratford City Cars Taxi Lounge located outside Waitrose on the lower ground Floor (near car park A).
By car:
Car parking at Lee Valley VeloPark is limited and we strongly advise travelling by public transport, however if travelling by car is essential we are situated 5 minutes from the A12 and blue badge holder spaces are available. Parking is no longer free at the VeloPark, please follow the signs to the parking machines and follow the instructions on the machine, otherwise you will receive a fine. You can also park at Westfield next to the Stratford international train station.
By bike:
There are cycle routes connecting Lee Valley VeloPark to local residential areas as well as the cycle routes through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The venue is close Sustrans National Cycle Network Route 1 and Barclays Cycle Superhighway CS2.
Bike racks are available at the venue.
Bike hire / bringing your own bike
You can hire bikes at the venue if they are not included in the cost of your activity. However, if you wish to bring your own bike please bear in mind restrictions on public transport.

There are good pedestrian links to Lee Valley VeloPark from Westfield Stratford City, Hackney and Leyton.
