I found the emails too much. Lots of information but actually as a very busy person difficult to know which one was really important. Loved the atmosphere - friendly and not too many people. My first race - I'll be back!

A group of us turned up for RunThrough Velo Park on Saturday. I ran the half marathon with one friend, while two others ran the 10k, and then my daughters took part in the family race. The whole event was really well organised, and being able to wave and clap each other as passed others in our team on the track was awesome. The facilities at the Velo Park were great - being able to shower and change afterwards was a massive plus. Stratford is also such a great location for families - we walked down to the nearby park afterwards and had a delicious lunch in one of the restaurants that overlook it. The marshals do a brilliant job cheering everyone on and for a ‘13 lap course’ it’s certainly a surprise to find that actually, you’ve got really interesting views and it doesn’t get boring at all!

The course was good but came out quite long. Some spectators were impeding runners on the track at times. Event staff were very friendly and supportive.
