Experience 22k miles of amazing trails in the heart of the South Downs on this all-female guided run. Beginning at Westerlands Farm, which offers a café and luxury accommodation, you'll explore the South Downs National Park, spurred along by a sociable, friendly running atmosphere. Feel free to enjoy a post-run cake and coffee at the Horsebox Café after you finish!
You'll head along the South Downs Way to Heyshott before dropping down to join the Serpent Trail. Led by an experienced trail runner and running coach, this is the perfect opportunity to take on trail running for the first time in a more relaxed atmosphere.

All runners must be aged 16 or older on the day of the event in order to take part.
Pace
This event is about having fun, not racing. The aim is to run together, so you will have breaks to regroup if needed. To ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience, it's important to be mindful pace and your capability of running the distance, in reality the pace will change depending on the route terrain, distance and elevation. While we welcome participants of varied abilities, we recommend being comfortable maintaining a pace of approximately 10-11:30 minutes per mile (6:15-7 minutes per km) on flat roads continuously. While hiking uphill is perfectly acceptable, we do ask that participants are capable of running on the flats and downhill sections to help maintain group flow. If you have any questions or concerns about your ability to join a run, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to ensure that every participant has a positive and fulfilling experience.
