Were heading back to Coopers Lake Campground for another incredible Tough Mudder Pittsburgh event in 2019. Just 45 minutes outside of the Steel City, these rolling hills, crystal clear lakes and epically muddy Jeep trails are guaranteed to test the limits of you and your crew. The going might get tough, but thats when you bear down and drag one another across the finish line. Because Coopers Lake Campground might be tough, but youre tougher.Tough

5K: 3 miles, 13 obstacles

Tough Mudder 5K is pulling out all the stops for an epic bash so fun you’ll have no choice but to have the time of your life. It all starts and ends in Mudder Village with killer live entertainment, epic games and challenges, authentic local food, and a never ending-supply of Mudder Nation camaraderie. After you’re done crushing the course, the good times keep rolling with a frosty cold finisher beer and your new best friends from course.

Classic and Tougher Mudder: 8-10 miles, 25 obstacles

Tough Mudder Classic is an epic return to our badass roots in the form of 8-10 miles packed with more obstacles than ever before (25 to be exact). In 2019, we’ve taken innovation to the extreme with 10 new or updated obstacles on every single course for maximum limit-testing, goal-crushing EPIC. You’ll test your limits physically and mentally and cross the finish line stronger than you started, with your fellow Mudders by your side every step of the way.

There’s no better place to prove to yourself that you’ve got what it takes to demolish any goal you set in 2019 than Tough Mudder Classic. Because that ice-cold free finisher beer tastes even better when you’ve earned it.

FAQs

Are teams required to finish together? Team members are not required to finish the course together. While we place an emphasis on teamwork and camaraderie, Tough Mudder leaves this decision at each team member's sole discretion.

Will start times be enforced? Yes! Your start time will be sent approximately 11 days before event day. No need to bring proof – your start time will be linked to your ticket, so make sure to bring a printed or digital copy of your ticket and your photo ID.

Can I Transfer / Place my registration on hold? All participants can transfer their registration to another event. Tickets may not be transferred across currencies. For International Transfers, please contact [email protected] All transfers must be completed by 11:30pm local time on the Friday before event weekend. If you do not transfer your registration before then, the registration must be used for the event in which you are currently registered. No exceptions. Your participant pass can be used as a spectator pass, as well as a participant pass if you are unable to participate.

Can I skip obstacles? Yes. Tough Mudder is not a race, nor is it about getting a better time than other competitors, so it's fine by us if you want to skip an obstacle. The way we see it, you are there to have fun and challenge yourself. If you think a particular obstacle really isn't going to do this for you, just go around it - without a penalty or shame. Anyone who is at risk of our electric-related obstacles (due to medical concerns) or cannot swim (and would have a difficult time in water) is strongly advised to skip these obstacles, as safety is held at a premium at Tough Mudder. Please speak with a doctor before coming to Tough Mudder, as they can evaluate your specific circumstances.
