Route description
Route description

This is the first event of the Abersoch Triple Crown, which also includes the Abersoch Sprint Triathlon and Half Marathon.

10K:

The race kicks-off from the centre of the village, with a view over towards the Harbour. From here, racers will speed through the high street and up to Lon Pentre Bach to the Deucoch.

After the Sarn Bach crossroads, there are a number of narrow lanes that head down to the far end of the beach before tackling the challenging 'Tocyn Brutal' hill. Two more miles of undulating roads will find you looping back to the golf course before the epic beach finish in-front of a beckoning crowd.

**3K Beach:

**The 3K beach run kicks-off at 0930 and has a fantastic course mixed with hard and soft sand, trails and tracks.

**Address: Abersoch, Pwllheli, LL53 7EF

Car:** Abersoch is located at the western edge of North Wales, on the Llyn Peninsula.

The best route from the South or the Midlands is to head toward Birmingham and then take the A458/A470/A487 to the Llyn peninsula and finally the A497 to Abersoch.

From the North, it is best to enter Wales via Chester and then take the A55/A487 to the Llyn Peninsula and then the A499/A497 until Abersoch.

Train: The closest railway station is Pwllheli, which is around a 15 minute drive to Abersoch. Trains run from London and take around 7 hours, however it'll be well worth it as you take in some of Wales' best scenery.
