Route information
Obstacles: Climbs/crawls/water/mud
This brilliant run is all about the thrills and spills of obstacle racing. There won't be any obstacles that require upper body strength making for an inclusive race, perfect for all levels of fitness.
* If in doubt, miss it out. All participants are most welcome to skip obstacles if they feel it's just not for them.
Mini Obstacles
These will be the same style as the 5k and 10k obstacles, but not as high.
Climbs
There'll be quite a few climbing obstacles on this course, including hay bale walls and larger wooden frames to get over.
Crawls
Runners will have to make it through a tyre crawl, plastic tubing and cargo nets.
Water
Get ready to get wet, there'll be a few water obstacles on this course. There'll be ponds to run through and pools of water with obstacles that participants will have to clamber under and over.
* Adults running with children are encouraged to test the depth of the water before children take part in the water obstacles.
Mud
What would an obstacle course race be without mud? If the ponds, water, and October elements don't make it muddy enough, there'll be mud pits to make sure everyone who crosses the finish line is adequately coated in mud.
