Route information
Take on a 10k, half marathon or marathon through the beautiful Shropshire countryside this February. The perfect event to kick off your 2025 running calendar, the friendly atmosphere and incredible views are sure to make for a fantastic day of running.
Starting from Carding Mill Valley, half marathon runners will complete 1 loop of the route, with marathon participants completing the course twice. The course will be fully marked, but runners should carry a route map as well.

Make sure to bring along your best baking for the post-race cake competition!

Parking will be available at the site and is approximately £5 per vehicle. All proceeds go towards helping the National Trust continue their vital work.

Entrants must be 17 and older to enter this event.
Cut-off Time
There will be a cut-off time for the marathon distance of 7 hours. Runners must have completed their first lap by 12:30 to be allowed onto the second.
Cake Competition
The organiser will also be holding their cake competition, so please do bring along your bakes to see if you win a prize.
Race Instructions
Full race instructions will be emailed to entrants 7-10 days before the event.
The organisers reserve the right to move the venue of the event to a different location.
Kit
The course will be fully marked but runners are required to carry the following items:
- A map of the area
- A rucksack
- Minimum of 500ml of water
- Basic first aid kit
