This delightful Autumn guided trail run will take you through the best of the Leicestershire countryside. The 16 mile route will see you tackle the county's highest hills, providing fantastic views as you go. There will be ample opportunities to stop and snap some photos along the way.

Distance: Approximate - 16 miles
Average pace: 11-17 min/mile
This guided trail run is a 16 mile route around the beautiful Charnwood countryside. You will tackle Bardon Hill (Leicestershire’s highest point)-278 meters, Old John in Bradgate-254 meters and Beacon Hill-248 meters. Along the way you will pass, gnarled oak trees, some of the oldest rocks in Britain, visit historic deer parks and take in some spectacular views.
Charnwood Forest is famed for its craggy hills and dry stone walls, but is also rich in wildlife. Look out for buzzards circling on the updrafts from the hills. This social run will approximately take between 3-5 hours with plenty of time to soak in the views and take photos.
