*Please arrive with plenty of time to park, register, attach your race number and warm up.
Race Packs
All race packs will be collected on the day from registration. Please arrive with enough time to ensure you can register and warm up before the race start.
Age Requirements
Participants must be aged 13 and over for the Middle and Long distance. Participants of all ages can enter the Short race, with under 12's going free. Please note that all under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Water & Nutrition stations
There will be approximately three hydration and nutrition outposts on these routes, provided by Precision Hydration.
Plastic-Free Event
Maverick Race is making every effort to make this season 100% plastic-free. For this reason, there will be no plastic cups at this event, so runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle with them to refill at the stations located on the route.
Canicross Entry
This is a dog-friendly event, and users can purchase a spot for their furry fiend for £3 extra.

No, nothing will be posted to you prior to the event. Your race number will be waiting for you to collect from the Registration area on the morning of the event.

I can no longer make the Maverick Adidas Terrex Original East Sussex, can I transfer my place to another event?
If for any reason you wish to transfer out from an event Maverick Race are happy to do this, but once only. However, they cannot action any transfers for an event that has sold out. The last day to transfer out of an event is the Monday before event day (5 days before the event), please email Maverick on info@maverick-race.com with the name of the event you would like to move to. Maverick are not able to move you out of an event if you contact them after this day. You may transfer to any event listed on the Maverick website or even change to a higher value event and pay the difference.

Way too many emails post event… used to like that maverick didn’t bombard you once you did an event
Love Maverick Races
A challenging first 15K but I enjoyed it loads. The event was organised very well and the run path was sign posted very clearly. There was a really lovely atmosphere and all the other runners were encouraging. Can’t wait to book onto my next run!
First time at a Terrex event, thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely coming back. Excellent relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Really nice course. Bit of a mad climb just before the finish, but lovely rolling course for 95% if it.
A very good event. Testing course (although a bottleneck early on), a sensible start time and a train station nearby. My only reservation is allowing dogs to run. I’m aware there was an incident on one of the routes and I’m not surprised. I would be very happy to enter one of your events in future but not one that includes a cannicross run.
Very well organised event, loved the route and minimal fuss. The alcohol free beer was very nice after the race!!Would definitely run another one.
