Route information

These routes will explore the Peak District National Park just west of Sheffield. Runners will pass the stunning Ladybower reservoir along the way, providing breathtaking waterfront views.

There will be marshals stationed at crucial points of the route to ensure you are heading in the right direction and to cheer you on as you go.

Race Pack

Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Please be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.

Bag Drop

There will be a secure area where bags can be left, though it is recommended that you bring as little baggage as possible. Your bag tag is attached to your race number which you can tear off and attach to your bag.

Toilets

There will be plenty of toilets available for use in the event village.

Refreshments

There will be water stations at each lap of the race as well as at the finish.

Route great, well marked, helpers brilliant. Food choice v poor, would expect savory, fruit, cakes alongside what provided. Should be checking numbers of runners through each aid station, if someone injured or not come in you wouldn't have clue where they are.

Love the course the route well organised just think there a couple more feed/water stations on route there was some big gaps i between each great marathon tho loved it thanks

as it was 55k advetise it as a 55k ultra.lovley runn a bit two much on roads .but really enjoyd it

I enjoyed it but was a bit disappointed that there was so much road running involved. The trail sections were excellent though.

Did the half which was absolutely fab! great atmosphere very well organised and a great goody bag at the end. I was just disappointed with the t-shirt I purchased I thought it might have had details of the event on it. If I had known it was just a general one I wouldn't have purchased it.

The course was perfectly marked out and organisation at the start/end was great. The location and route we a great mix terrain which kept me motivated all the way round as well as the very well stocked checkpoints. My only 2 issues were: With the sponsors being Man Cave, the goodie bag at the end was very centred around male entrants. Finally, the lack of toilets at check points would be an issue for any runners not wanting to use the toilet in nature.
