Route information
Starting at Clipstone Colliery, you will start straight on the gravel pathways that will carry you through the enchanting Sherwood Pine forest. The start will be undulating before a short climb up to the first checkpoint. You will then head east towards Worksop as you tackle some rough pathways. Finally, you will tackle some scenic open farmland towards the finish at Clipstone. Top off your day with a refreshing beer and food at the finish.

What is the best bike for the Sherwood Pines Gravel X?
It will be best to use a gravel bike with 40mm tyres. Mountain bikes are useable but will be slower.
What happens if i have a mechanical problem with my bike on the Sherwood Pines Gravel X?
There will be mechanics at all feed stops to help you and ride captains along the route to offer support, make sure to bring a basic repair kit for small incidences.
How do I find out my start time for the Sherwood Pines Gravel X?
Riders will start in groups of 6 at a time. You will be emailed after you have booked to choose your start time between 8:00am and 10am. If you are riding with a friend you can choose to start with them.
