Race through the Theme Park and parts of the Universal Backlot, take photos with dinosaurs and other Photo Ops along the course, then make your escape to the finish line at 5 Towers on Universal CityWalk. And now, kids can join the action with the new Kids' 1K Raptor Run! It's all part of the excitement that's a perfect event for beginners, intermediates, or even racing veterans. - Each child receives his/her own Kids' 1K Raptor Run t-shirt, bib, finisher medallion and downloadable finisher certificate!
* For kids ages 8 and younger, a parent or legal guardian is required to participate alongside their child. For kids ages 9 through 12, parent/legal guardian participation is optional. Parents/legal guardians are not required to register themselves to participate with their child in the Kids’ 1K Raptor Run. However, parents/legal guardians who are participating with their child must sign the Participant Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement and the General Release waiver for both themselves and their child.

Pacing Requirements
A participant must maintain a 17 minute per mile pace throughout the course. This is a running clock that begins when the last participant crosses the start line.
We recommend that you train at a pace of 15 minutes per mile to account for entertainment locations and photos and to ensure that you can finish the route in time.
You will be notified by race officials if you are falling behind pace so that you can catch up to the minimum pace requirements.
Runners unable to maintain the pace may be picked up at any point along the course.

Take the 101 Hollywood Freeway North to Universal Studios Blvd. Exit Universal Studios Blvd. Proceed up Universal Studios Blvd. Turn Right into E.T. Parking Garage.

Take the 10 Santa Monica Freeway East to the 405 Freeway North. Exit to the 101 Ventura Freeway East/South. (Signs to Los Angeles.) Continue on the 101 Freeway and exit on Lankershim Blvd. Turn left on Cahuenga Blvd. Turn left on Universal Studios Hollywood Blvd and proceed up the hill. Turn right into E.T. Parking Garage.
From the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Follow signs to the 105 Freeway. Take the 105 Freeway East to the 110 Harbor Freeway North. After passing through the downtown area, get on the 101 Hollywood Freeway North. Follow the 101 Freeway to the Universal Studios Blvd. exit. Proceed up Universal Studios Blvd. Turn Right into E.T. Parking Garage.

The Metro pedestrian bridge, located at the corner of Lankershim and Universal Hollywood Drive, provides safe and easy access from the Universal City Red Line and Bus Stations to our FREE Universal Studios shuttle stop without having to cross any busy intersections. Our shuttle will take you directly to the main entrances of Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk Hollywood as well as bring you back to the bridge when your day is done.
Our FREE Universal Studios Shuttle service runs 7 days a week, with pick-ups approximately every 10-15 minutes.

Spectators help runners by motivating them during their training and cheering them on during their runs. As a spectator, you play a huge part in the success of your runner.
Spectators will be able to cheer you on at CityFood, above the Finish Line area at 5 Towers on CityWalk.
