I would say do it! Bring your own fluid and fuel and you'll be absolutely fine. They was not many marshals on the course 2022 however I think it was due to some being ill. Great event I'll be there next Yr for the ultra.

The race was well-organised but I'm not sure why it needed to be spread over two days, was it to avoid toommany runners on the tow path at the same time? It meant that the start groups were small. The grim races are always friendly and you should be proud of putting on a good event. Thank-you. I will run grim again in the future.

Flat course, good training run for the marathon I’m running next year, slightly dull route but gets the miles in!

Friendly and amateurish setup. Not enough chips delayed registration. The app gave a different start location to the email. There was really no point getting there when registration opened, I just got cold. But we got away on time and people were friendly and encouraging. Nice Barbecue. I’d recommended it to others but personally, I prefer bigger events with a bit of atmosphere.

I love grim up north events. They always make it worthwhile. Nice flat, canal course.

Reasonably flat with a couple of very small hills to contend with, ground was relatively stable, couple of slippery leaves but nothing road shoes couldn't handle, definitely PB territory and a really great goody bag at the end. Will definitely be back
