This was an enjoyable event with a good atmosphere and great opportunity for people to do their first 5k. Was slightly annoying that the queue to collect numbers was a bit too long and this delayed the start as ended up meaning those who had arrived on time had to wait around for ages. Would have rather a nice tote bag rather than a medal!

Recycling bins for the empty cans of water would have been good!

There didn’t seem to be any water taps at the event village on the Saturday, just disposable water cans. They would have been useful to top up water bottles and save waste.
