Route information
Day 1: London to Harwich - 83 miles
Day 2: Hook of Holland to Amsterdam - 53 miles
Both routes will be along open roads.
On day 1 you'll set out from Trafalgar Square and experience the gentle stop/start cycle out of London which is great as it both eases you into the challenge and also gives you an opportunity to enjoy simply stunning London! The route heads east to the coast through Leytonstone and Essex and the scenic ride carries onto Harwich where you'll get the opportunity to rehydrate and change before boarding the ferry for a well-earned rest.
The second day of cycling is entirely in Holland as we head towards Amsterdam enjoying perfect cycling conditions. The long uninterrupted and extremely flat cycle tracks alongside the serenity of the canals, mean that even those suffering fatigue can really go through the gears and get a good speed up as we head towards the beautiful capital before finishing at Art Square, Amsterdam.
* There will be cycle leaders at the front and back of the group leading the way ensuring no one gets left behind. So every pace is catered for!
