Elevation Hilly
The Cocking 10k is a hilly but scenic trail race over the South Downs. The 10:00 route starts from the Cadence Café with a climb across the Cowdray and West Dean estates, before heading to the top of the Downs. Those hilly climbs will be worth it for some stunning views, but no time for hanging around with a quick and fast downhill stretch to the finish!
The 9:30 Junior 3k Race and the 3k Schools Team Race start 1km west of the race HQ/finish line on The South Downs Way. Please be ready to walk to the start from Race HQ at 9:15. The marshalled 3km trail route heads uphill for a short while before heading down to the finish line where the 10k runners will be gathering for their start. Expect lots of cheers from the adults as the juniors cross the line! For schools wishing to enter the team race, please email sarah330@hotmail.com

The event starts from the top of Cocking Hill, one mile south of the village of Cocking on the A286 where The South Downs Way crosses the road. Please observe marshals and car parking directions when you arrive.

You can take the Stagecoach bus route 60 from Chichester or Midhurst.
