Ive really enjoyed various outlaw events I’ve done. The outlaw was good as a first time king distancer. The people were super friendly, the Comms were digestible and the event was well run.

Fanatic weekend and highly recommended for anyone attempting long course - whether as a beginner or experienced veteran.Well organised with knowledgeable and approachable staff / volunteers. Location, venue and amenities are second to none.Registration was well done and left you confident in getting to the start line. Race day (full of nerves) was brilliantly executed and supported.Swim is lovely, bike course well signposted and supported with the run (idyllic and flat) provided with ample refuel stops. The finish line made all the pain worthwhile!

The bike course needs work on the road surfaces. I felt that certain parts of the course I would not use for training rides.... so wouldn't expect to have to race on them.

Some confusion by a lot of people was is 3 laps then and 3/4 lap or was it 4 laps then a 3/4 lap better to be one one loop in my opinion The petrol powered motor boats need to be removed.. I spent 3 days on my inhaler after that swim and it was due to the fumes sitting on the water from the power boat.. my chest was so tight in the evening.. I did mention to two of the marshals on bank sideHowever it hasn’t put us of will will be back again and this event will be on our clubs list of events to doRegardsDavid ScottCleethorpes Tri Club
