It was more trail than I expected but that was just unfortunate with the huge amount of rain! Easy to negotiate and friendly -thank you. X

I can’t believe I paid £24 for this! I just don’t understand where the money went. Absolutely terrible organisation. The weather (terrible rain) will have played a part but still totally unacceptable organisation. They got my position (I finished 3rd, and they said I was 9th) wrong and my time was wrong by 10 minutes. I know it’s not the Olympics or anything but to not get a time, I might as well have just run on the canal myself and saved £24. Incredibly poor event !!!!

My second it's grim event. Loved it, the team are brilliant at encouraging, happy to chat after whilst patching up the giant hole in my knee from a silly fall. Great medal and the vegi pie after was delicious! Will definitely be back for the summer one!

I think it loses something not having a chipped time and it should be for the price of entry.Probably not something that bothers the majority but I used to look forward to an (ideally local) ale at the finish. The choice was really disappointing.

Helpful staff. Excellent pies and beer on the finish line. Shame there weren't drinks available on the course... very poor not to have access to toilets at the start.

Very wet course due to weather conditions which is nobody’s fault but did make the course harder.
