Route information
The start of this 10k will be outside the entrance to the Cumberland Building Society on St Mary's Gate. Runners will take a short walk 100m from the Race HQ at Sheepmount Athletics stadium to the start line after the race safety briefing. The finish line will be lamp post 6 at the back of the Sands Centre.
Take in the unique sights of the 12th Century Cathedral, Tullie House, the Norman Castle and Millennium Bridge to name a few.
The race route will follow some open roads and public pavements so all participants are asked to follow the race director's instructions and be aware of the dangers of cars and cyclists.

Runners will need to pick up their race numbers and timing chips from registration before the race between 17:45 and 18:45. Please arrive early enough to account for registration and warm up before the race briefing at 18:45. Registration will be at Race HQ at the Sheepmount Athletics Stadium.

All runners must be aged 15 or over to compete in this race.

There will be toilet facilities in the Sheepmount Athletics Stadium. Please note there are no toilets available at the finish.
