Route information
The course is along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The course is mainly well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. Road shoes are suitable all year round. The course is flat and fast.
This is a 7hr Time Challenge event which allows you full control over the distance you want to run. The minimum distance is 5km, which is part of a lap. A full lap is 4.37 miles (7km) and you can run as many or as few of these laps as you wish in the 7hr time limit which starts from the official event start time. It is 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon and 7 or over for an ultra, we also have a 50km distance available.

There is some limited free parking in streets near to the venue. Alternatively, there are plenty of paid public car parking spaces nearby. You can also often find much cheaper parking if you arrange parking online.

Aid Station
There will be an aid station at the start line. Therefore you can access the aid station every 4.37 miles.
On Site Facilities
There will be toilets at race HQ at the start/finish area.
Distance Pins
You'll receive a distance pin if you complete either a half marathon, mega half marathon, marathon, 50k or ultra in the 7 hour time limit.
Bag Drop
There will be an area for you to leave your bags. This won't however be supervised so all items are left at their own risk.
Age Requirements
You will need to be aged 16 or over on event day to participate in this event.

What is the terrain like for Chasing Numbers Run?
The event is on the Thames Path, which will mostly be trail. It is a nice and flat course.
Do I have to run for the full seven hours of Chasing Numbers Run?
Absolutely not! The minimum distance to cover is 4.37mi, but you're encouraged to go as far as you can in the 7 hours!
